We are delighted that you are considering Tiferes Freida, Chicago’s elegant new Simcha Hall, as your venue.

Tiferes Freida provides a sophisticated setting that was carefully planned to bring elegance and warmth to every Simcha. We intentionally incorporated many of the amenities and features needed to host an elegant and seamless event.

Parking is available on Sunday all day and weeknights after 6:00 PM at the large Midwest Refuah parking lot, next door to Tiferes Freida, as well as the 5/3 Bank parking lot across the street.

Shabbos Meals
Pick any Shabbos meals you need the hall for. Shabbos rentals are a flat $1,800 (Friday Night, Shabbos Day, and Shalosh Seudos), plus a $175 cleaning fee. Melava Malka following Shabbos is an additional $900. Leave blank for a weekday event.

Policy Notice: Party planners are welcome. You can personalize your event with colors, linens, and tabletop décor. Please understand that structural changes and furniture replacement are not permitted.
Furniture and Setup Policy

Tiferes Freida is an extension of our Shul Khal Zidichov Chodorov. All events must follow our standards of conduct, kashrus, and decorum.

  • Tiferes Freida was designed and furnished to be complete and beautiful as-is.
  • No outside furniture allowed.
  • No lounge setups or room builds / structural décor installations.
  • Personalization limited to tablecloths and tabletop décor.
  • Nothing may be attached or hung from walls or ceiling.
  • For Shabbos rentals, setup may begin at 9:00 AM Friday; the hall must be vacated by midnight following Shabbos.
  • For weekday events, setup access begins at 7:00 AM on the day of the event.
  • Requests for earlier entry or later exit can be accommodated when possible or for an additional charge.
Kashrus & Food Policy
  • All food must be cRc approved.
  • Mashgiach must be present during preparation and throughout the event.
  • All food must arrive sealed and labeled.
  • No home-cooked food allowed.
  • Cholov Yisroel dairy only.
  • No private utensils allowed.
  • Outside utensils must be new or approved.
  • Dairy kitchen use requires prior approval.
  • All drinks must be cRc approved.
  • Wines must be mevushal.

Shabbos Restrictions
  • Waiters and staff cannot park in any of the Shul parking lots.
  • No deliveries on Shabbos.
  • No photography.
  • No equipment switching on/off.
  • Rav consultation required for timers or changes.
  • Only approved Shabbos beverage methods.
Conduct & Music Standards

Because Tiferes Freida is an extension of the Shul, music must meet Shul standards. Weekday Mincha and Maariv minyanim are permitted. Weekday Shacharis and all Shabbos minyanim (including Kabbalas Shabbos, Shacharis, and Mincha) are not permitted.

  • Volume limits apply.
  • Jewish music only.
  • There must be a full mechitza for any public event.
  • Tznius and behavior standards apply.
Cleanup & Damage Responsibility

Hosts are responsible for:

  • Cleanup standards.
  • Garbage removal.
  • Vendor compliance.
  • Guest behavior.
  • Any damages.

Fees may apply for violations or excessive cleanup.
